The main aim of this great philanthropic organisation is to provide very high quality education to students and offer excellent dental health care to patients from all sections of the society .Treatment offered here is mostly free of cost.
Dept of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery being one of the most important pillars of any dental college, a very strict & diligent approach was instituted to establish the Dept. DCI guidelines were followed strictly in respect of faculties, staff, equipment & materials. With active support from the Management, Mentor, the Principal & Dean’s office the dept of OMFS has come out as one of the best organised dept. We receive patients in admirable numbers which has been growing exponentially. Presently all surgical procedures like extractions, minor oral surgeries, biopsies are done in the department under local anaesthesia. In collaboration with Shree Jain Hospital Howrah, major surgeries such as fracture repair, orthognathic surgeries and oral cancer treatment are done under General Anaesthesia. I am sure the Dept will reach greater heights in time to come.
