ORAL MEDICINE is the speciality of Dentistry that is concerned with the oral health care of medically compromised patients and with the diagnosis and non-surgical management of Medically related disorders or conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.

ORAL RADIOLOGY is the speciality of Dentistry and discipline of Radiology concerned with the production and interpretation of images and data produced by all the modalities of radiant energy that are used for diagnosis and management of disease, disorders and conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.

Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College & Hospital, works with an objective of providing the appropriate diagnosis after history taking, clinical examination and radiological evaluation, appropriate diagnosis being the basis of any treatment plan. A treatment plan is provided accordingly, and referred to the respective Depts. The Dept also aims at providing a conservative treatment for precancerous oral lesions and conditions, Orofacial pain, Temporomandibular joint disorders, and other oral lesions and infections.

Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop  and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional career. There is also a Tobacco cessation unit, where tobacco cessation counseling is performed for patients having deleterious oral habits.
